Stories by Bob
Robert (Bob) Jerkovich wrote these about the family’s roots, its journeys and his own return to Croatia. His words are shown here exactly as he wrote them.
“I’ve always had a desire to know where our ancestors came from.”
“Now that I have sort of unscrambled the scrambled part of the Jerkovic roots, let’s see where the immigration routes lead us and to how many continents.”
“As a whole, we are very fortunate that nearly all of our family roots can be traced back to the 1700s, with one exception, the Viscovic family, which we are able to trace back to 1610.”
43 family photographs, with Bob’s notes.
“As mentioned previously, I have had a strong yearning to visit my father and grandparents’ homeland for many years.”
The books and stories Bob planned to write.
